We’d bid on these cars from Aguttes’ spring sale…

This weekend in Lyon, France, 35 collector cars will go under the hammer at Aguttes’ Vente de Printemps sale, ranging from affordable modern classics to timeless 1960s beauties. These are our favourites…

Much of the catalogue for Aguttes’ Vente de Printemps auction, taking place on 14 April in Lyon, might’ve been photographed during a snowy spell in France, but each of the 35 lots would prove a lot of fun in the coming summer months. We were pleased to see more modern (and affordable) classics well represented, such as a gorgeous burgundy 2006 Alfa Romeo Brera Spider V6 (est. 20,000–30,000 euros) and a 1994 Ferrari 456 (55,000–65,000 euros) resplendent in a lesser-seen shade of grey. Of course, if more traditional classics are more in line with your tastes, you’re also well catered for — just take the sensuous 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Spider (50,000–70,000 euros) or the 1966 Jaguar E-type SI convertible (100,000–120,000 euros) for example. You can find our 10 highlights from the sale listed below or, alternatively, browse the entire catalogue in the Classic Driver Market.
