From London to Edinburgh

As mentioned previously, the fourth Concours of Elegance will move from London’s Hampton Court Palace to the stunning grounds of Edinburgh’s Holyroodhouse for 2015. Interestingly, that’s a similar journey to that completed in period by one of its confirmed entries – a 1911 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost – which travelled from London to Edinburgh and back using only its top gear. It will be joined at Holyroodhouse by 59 other significant automobiles with their own tales to tell, collectively illustrating the highpoints of both pre- and post-War motoring. Tickets for the event, to be held on 5 and 6 September 2015, can be bought now at the Concours of Elegance website.
