Blurring the lines

Sitting in-between the S and Turbo models, the Porsche Macan GTS is powered by the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 that has been boosted by 20HP, coupled to the seven-speed PDK gearbox. The stats are undeniably impressive – with the optional Sport Chrono package, 0-62mph is dispatched in five seconds while top speed has been increased to 160mph, all the while retaining a claimed 31.4mpg. With new brakes, a more sporting suspension set-up, subtle styling tweaks both inside and out, and a more potent exhaust tone, the new GTS blurs the line even further between sports car and SUV, and improves on a car already widely commended for its impressive sporting credentials.
