Description

The original MISTRAL, fully restored and back in the water since summer 2008 after 2years of yard work. She has by now again crossed (raced) the Atlantic several times, has cruised the Caribbean, north along US eastcoast to Canada/Nova Scotia and many more. Beautiful result. Highest recommendation. She is basically a brand new, stronger than new by far, typical Herreshoff schooner. Longleaf yellow pine and cedar carvel planked. Oak frames. Teak decks. All Bronze fastenings. Spruce masts and spars. Fully restored to perfect condition. MISTRAL is back to her previous glory in perfect shape. She was completely refastened and splined and then given 3 layers mahogany set in epoxy, new sets of ringframes, new decks, new technical installations, new saloon and galley areas - you mention it - it has been restored or rebuilt.
