GOLD HUNTER CASE WITH CHRONOGRAPH AND MINUTE REPEATER, CIRCA 1900
Four body bassine polished 18K gold case, n. 77585, polished dome.
White enamel dial, Arabic hour numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds dial, minute track and outer one minute scale with 1/5th of seconds division. Gilt pear hands.
Unsigned key-less movement based on Le Phare caliber, patent 334 (deposited by Charles Barbezat-Baillot), lever escapement, cut compensated bimetallic balance with screws, blued Breguet hairspring, chronograph with column-wheel. Minute repeater on two gongs by pressing a push-piece, centrifugal governor.
