with detent escapement in original fitted three-body mahogany box. Accompanied by a 1908
Bulletin de Marche from the Observatoire Astronomique et Chronométrique de Neuchâtel and
the original certificate with the original envelope.
Five-body, "demi-bassine", solid and heavy, polished mastermark P.D. Hinged gold cuvette
with engraved dedication ''ce Chronometer de bord No22311 construit par Paul Ditisheim la
Chaux de Fonds a obtenu en premiere classe le premier prix de l'etat a l'observatoire astronomique
de Neuchatelle''. Over hinged glazed gold bezel for viewing the movement.
Matte silver with champlevé radial Roman numerals and outer minute track, subsidiary
dial, subsidiary seconds, engraved in red « Grand Prix Paris 1900 ». Blued steel fleur-de-lis
hands.
50 mm., 22''', "Extra", rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, one-minute
tourbillon, three equidistant arm polished steel cage and bridge, tourbillon with pivoted
detent escapement, Guillaume cut anibal-brass compensation balance with winged arms,
adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, 18 gold peripheral temperature adjustment
screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
