ROSE GOLD POCKET WATCH WITH INDEPENDENT DEAD-BEAT SECONDS AND BLAZON OF THE SAVOY, CIRCA 1880
Four body 18K rose gold gouge case, n. 30993, reeded edges, back with applied in relief the Savoy coat of arms with the crowned eagle with red shield and argent cross on the chest, “T” set with diamonds -presumably the initial of the admiral and Duke of Genoa Tommaso di Savoia-, dome signed “Demi-Chronometre Secondes Indépendantes”, coaxial pusher for the seconds on the winding crown.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, minutes/seconds division with 5-min Arabic markers. Blued pear hands, centered seconds.
Key-Less two train and double barrel movement, tandem winding, bridge plate and fully jewelled Louis Audemars caliber, beveled, lever escapement, cut compensated bimetallic balance with screws, blued Breguet hairspring, index regulator.
