Made in three examples, circa 2000, the present watch unique in pink gold.
Extremely fine and unique, large and heavy, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold, hunting
cased keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, chronograph, register and moon
phases. Accompanied by a Vacheron Constantin box and Certificate of Origin dated 31
October, 2001.
Three-body, bassine et filets, polished, the front cover released by depressing the
button at 11 in the band, the interior of the back cover with an engraved portrait, correctors
in the rounded band, button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero
functions of the chronograph. Glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement.
Solid 18K gold with satine silvered finish, painted Arabic numerals, outer minutes
and fifths of a second chronograph divisions with Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary
dials for the seconds, date, days of the week, months with leap-year cycle concentric
with the 30-minute register, aperture for the moon phases with lunar calendar on
the edge. Black oxidized gold Breguet hands.
Cal. 20'''GC, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, wolf's tooth winding, 36
jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted
to heat, cold, isochronisms and 5 positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring with
overcoil, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on
the band.
