GOLD & ENAMEL WATCH
Swiss, No. 24766. Made circa 1830.
Very fine, thin, 18K gold and enamel pocket watch.
Four-body, the case, pendant and bow entirely decorated with
radial gold foliage and white champleve enamel flowers on a black
champleve enamel ground, glazed aperture for the eccentric dial in
the front cover. Hinged gold cuvette.
Silver, engine-turned, radial champlevé Roman numerals on a
polished chapter ring, outer minute divisions. Blued steel Breguet
hands.
38 mm., matte gilt, jewelled cylinder escapement with plain
three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator.
Case numbered.
