Ulysse Nardin, Locle & Genève, Chronometer San Marco, "Sonnerie en Passant - Hour Striker",
No. 17, Ref. 756-22. Made circa 1996.
Very fine and rare, self-winding, hour-repeating water-resistant, 18k yellow gold wrist
clockwatch, with automaton Jack striking hours and half hours, enamel dial and an
18k yellow gold Ulysse Nardin buckle.
Three-body, solid, polished, back with 6 screws and embossed with the Lion of San Marco
and signature, concave bezel, fluted lugs, blue enameled winding-crown with the logo, sapphire
crystal, push-buttons at 2 for silent or strike, and repeater button at 4.
Translucent blue enamel on guilloché gold, applied yellow gold baton and roman indexes,
with an engraved gold automaton Jack striking the hours and the half hours. Gold feuille hands.
11 1/2''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 41 jewels, two trains for movement
and striking work, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating
flat balance spring.
