ROLEX "Perpetual Chronometer", around 1947. Round case in 18k pink gold, diam. 32 mm, with fancy lugs, (excellent condition). Two-tone silver dial with applied indexes and Roman numerals, (excellent condition, original). Automatic movement, cal. A 260, n. N 66949, (excellent condition). Rolex buckle in pink gold with French mark. Dial and movement signed. The inside case back has a French mark of 18k and a mark FP of French manufacturer. At that time import taxes in France for gold watches were very high ; for that reason Rolex, as other famous Swiss Companies , had the case made by the seller in France. The production of watches with a French case was very limited , so this watch is to be considered very rare for this feature.
