Made for the Polish market, circa 1845.
Very fine and extremely rare, 18K gold and painted on
enamel lady's pendant watch depicting the famous icon
"The Black Madonna of Ostrabrama".
Four-body, "bassine", polished bezel, coin-edge
band, back cover decorated with a finely enameled and
engraved gold icon the `Black Madonna of Ostrabrama`
within a foliate engraved border. Hinged gold cuvette
engraved with the technical details in Polish.
White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer
minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands.
13''', frosted gilt, bar caliber, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement,
plain three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance
spring, index regulator.
Cuvette signed, case numbered.
