His novels are some of the most translated and have been adapted to film and television. Some of his well known novels include 'Journey to the centre of the earth', '20,000 leagues under the sea' and 'Around the world in 80 days'. He passed away in 1905 and Panerai released this tribute to Jules Verne in 2005, one hundred years after he died. The limited edition of one hundred models are hand engraved with a drawing of Captain Nemo from the Hetzel edition of 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.
