ST-MARTHA QUARTER-REPEAT WITH
CLOISONNE ENAMEL AND YELLOW GOLD
Anonymous, Swiss, No. 6323. Made circa 1910.
Very fine, quarter-repeating, 18K yellow gold, keyless
pocket watch.
Four-body, bassine, solid, polished, reeded borders,
caseback with painted on enamel representing Saint
Martha with a dragon at her feet on a guilloche sunburst
enamel background, outer rim with floral pattern inlaid
with black enamel. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with
the technical details, glazed aperture for the movement.
White enamel with roman numerals, outer minute
track, subsidiary dial for the seconds. Blued steel hands.
Rhodium plated, 30 jewels, wolf`s tooth winding,
straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation
balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index
regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the
band.
Cuvette signed.
