Anonymous, Swiss, "Quarter Repeater Chronograph Triple
Date Moon Phases," case No. 13931 Made circa 1890.
Fine, large, hunting-cased, keyless, quarter-repeating,
14K pink gold pocket watch with triple-date calendar,
chronograph and moon phases.
Four-body, bassine, polished, cover with the engraved
monogram olive-shaped button at 12 for the chronograph.
Hinged gold cuvette engraved with prize medals.
White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer 1/5th seconds
track with 5-second Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the
seconds and the date, apertures for the days of the week,
months and moon phases. Gilt Louis XV hands.
Cal. 20```, nickel-plated, 19 jewels, straight line lever
escapement, monometallic compensation balance, Breguet
balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Repeating
on gongs activated by a push-button on the band.
