Circa 2003
This fountain pen honours the only surviving 8th century East Pagoda of the Yakushi-ji temple. Three celestials, or angels, are featured on each plate and float amidst the fleeting clouds, which resemble flames. Beneath the angel is cascading vine foliage reminiscent of the Tathagata pedestal in the main hall of the Yakushi-ji Temple. Medium 18ct white gold imprinted with PILOT 85th Anniversary Commemorative nib. Includes original wooden box, packaging, ink bottle, and instruction manual. Limited Edition: 918/1000.
