Regarded as one of the more abstract pieces of the Yukari series, this pen depicts a pair of fireflies crafted in the Togidashi Maki-e technique with the brilliance of multi-colored abalone shells in Raden lacquering style by Maki-e artisan Kazuo Nihei. Fine 18ct gold nib imprinted with Mt. Fuji in a white platinum wash and the Namiki pentagon. Includes original wooden box, packaging, ink bottle, instruction manual and artisan autographed paper.
