Minerva, Villeret, "1858 Fait Main A Villeret", movement No. 122032,
case No. A187147, Ref. M162901. Made in the 2000s.
Very fine, oversized, stainless steel, manually-wound wristwatch with
single-button chronograph, register, pulsation scale and a stainless
steel Minerva buckle.
Four-body, polished and brushed, concave bezel, fluted concave
lugs, crown with lacquer insert of a gold arrow on a blue ground,
curved band, co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-
to-zero functions of the chronograph, glazed back with 6 screws,
hinged solid cover over the glazed back, sapphire crystals.
Two-tone brushed silver and guilloche gilt with applied blued steel
baton indexes and Arabic half-hour numerals, outer minute and fifths
of a second divisions, outer scale graduated for 30 pulsations, subsidiary
seconds and 30-minute register. Blued steel feuille hands.
Cal. 16-29, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 21 jewels,
straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorbers,
self-compensating Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator.
