Compagnie des Montres Longines Francillon S.A. is Swiss luxury watchmaker based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland. Founded by Auguste Agassiz in 1832. On par with Patek Philippe, Longines is famous in history of Swiss watches as producer of best and most reliable chronograph movements.
Longines began using the slogan "Elegance is an Attitude" in 1999. Their previous slogan, "The World's Most Honored Watch" was used for most of the 20th century.
The offered chronograph is a precise and reliable timepiece for daily use, it shows hours, minutes, seconds, day, month, date and phases of the Moon. In its chronograph function, this model can time events lasting up to 12 hours; the results are displayed to within 1/5th of a second.

The watch comes from showcase of luxury Longines watch shop; every morning it was put on the stand in the shop window, every evening it was removed from the window. Therefore the flip-side was polished. It was not worn, thus is in excellent condition.
