Description

GOLD HUNTER-CASE WATCH WITH MINUTE REPEATER, CIRCA 1890 Four body fillet and polished 18K gold case, n. 59614, engraved dome, glazed movement. Shaped pendant and oval bow. 
White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and 5-min Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Louis XV style hands. 
Unsigned key-less beveled bridge and gilded movement based on LeCoultre ebauche, jewels set with chaton, woolf-thoot winding, counterpoised lever escapement, blued Breguet hairspring, cut bimetallic balance with screws, Swiss patent 8172 (deposited by Numa Robert-Waelti). Minute repeater activated by a slide, anchor governor, chime with two hammers on two gongs.
Fitted with antique wooden box.
