European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., France, in 1927.
Very fine, elegant, and very rare, tonneau-shaped, curved, platinum
wristwatch with the original platinum and gold deployant clasp No. 8232.
Two-body, the band with 4 screws in the band to secure the back,
straight lugs with gold screwed bars with platinum heads, beaded
winding crown set with a cabochon sapphire, curved crystal.
Engine-turned "rayons de soleil" matte silver with radial Roman
numerals, inner minute track. Black Breguet hands.
Cal. JLC 123 - 9''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18
jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation
balance with 8 adjustments, flat balance spring, index regulator.
