Georges Huin, Geneve, No. 43947. Made circa 1899.
Fine, nielloed silver, hunting-cased, keyless Chronometer pocket
watch with niello engraving. Accompanied by a fitted box and a
photocopy of the Georges Huin watch description.
Four-body, massive, bezel and band with hand engraved
geometric pattern, the back decorated with a Griffin surrounded
by floral decoration, the front similar with engraved initials
(GH). Hinged silver cuvette with inscription.
White enamel with black Arabic numerals, outer minute
track with Arabic 5 minute markers, subsidiary seconds. Pink
gold Louis XVI hands.
Frosted gilt, 20 jewels, movement stamped twice with
Geneva hallmark, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic
compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
