Desirable "1973.5" K-Jetronic injection engine
Last year of the long hood, small bumper 911
The Porsche passion lives more than ever before, even long after the 50th birthday of the 911! After the launch in 1964 the 911 received something new every year till the end of the so called F-modell in '73. The engine capacity was raised to 2.4l and there were big improvements on the chassis. This year praised by all car enthusiasts because of the well balanced grip, steering feel, performance, brakes and quality. For many this is the last pure 911!

Beginning January 1973 Bosch K-Jetronic CIS (Continuous Fuel Injection) system from Bosch was used on Type 911/91 engine, which replaced mechanical fuel injection (MFI). The CIS 2.4-liter engine produces 140 horse power @ 5,700 rpm with a 915 traditional 5-speed transmission and four wheel disc brakes. Only 1,944 K-Jetronic (CIS) fuel injection were built. Truly an amazing 911 to drive!

In '73 this 2.4T was delivered exactly as it looks today: Sepia Brown paint over beige leatherette. Today, this classic 1973 911T 2.4 CIS Coupe presents beautifully throughout. The car retains its original, matching numbers engine, and the original chassis tags are still present. The headliner and much of the bright work remain original and untouched and speak for the mild California climate this Porsche has resided in for some time.

The car has had one paint job during its life but all interior surfaces, panel gaps, ... are completely original paint and untouched!

Mechanically the car was completely overhauled, brakes rebuilt, suspension bushings, geometry,... At the rear, we see Sway-a-Way spring plates that ensure perfect alignment and regulation of the rear axle. At the front, we see a strut brace between the struts to keep the alignment perfect at all times. A real pleasure to drive!

The car arrived in Belgium in 2005.

The smart 1973 911T 2.4 offered here was produced near the end of the 1973 model-year run, and therefore received the upgraded CIS fuel injection system, and would be referred to a 1973.5 911T.

This Sepia brown long-hood 911 Coupe has some exciting features and is ready for its next enthusiastic owner. It is offered with its Porsche-issued Certificate of Authenticity and would be a spectacular car to take on rallies and tours.

The car currently has Belgian registration.
