1 bt top shoulder, 5 bts very high shoulder, 1 bt slightly scuffed label, 1 bt very damaged label, sediments Private collector SF: Palmer is one of the great Margaux denomination wines and although it is classified as 3ème Grand Cru it is much appreciated by critics and public alike. 1986 was an important vintage which enabled the grapes to ripen sufficiently to make an excellent wine.
