Description
"Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993, the Ian Callum styled DB7 began production in 1994 at a new factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. It was engineered in conjunction with Tom Walkinshaw’s TWR group who built the new supercharged six-cylinder engine. In 1999, the new DB7 Vantage, with a V12 engine, was revealed. It didn’t just bring a new powertrain but more aggressive styling with a bigger front grille, new fog, side and indicator lights and imposing 18” wheels. The Vantage interior leather trim was cut and sewn at a special trim shop at Newport Pagnell where the carpet and wood veneers were also prepared. With the launch of the new V12 engine in the DB7 Vantage, production of the earlier straight-six DB7 ended. Originally registered on 17th April 2004, this Solent Silver DB7 Vantage is one of the final year of production cars. The 5935cc, V12 engine sounds beautiful when started and these Aston Martins have a reputation for being great touring cars. With only three previous registered owners and seven stamps in the service book, this Vantage has been well cared for. The car has recently benefitted from a service where the engine had fresh spark plugs fitted as well as oil and oil filters. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate together with the service books, manuals and a spare key; this car represents outstanding value for money."
