The Hudson Motor Car Company from Detroit Michigan produced automobiles from 1909 till they discontinued the name plate in 1957.
The company had a number of firsts for the auto industry these included dual brakes, the use of dashboard oil-pressure and generator warning lights and the first balanced crankshaft.
New for 1950 was Hudson's new smaller entry level model, called the Pacemaker.
The Hudson Pacemakers received the sleek fastback design and the lowest overall height of any American car that year.
This factory design has always been a favourite with hot rodders for the channelled body design.

This example is a beautiful example showcasing the cars Art Deco influences, painted in cream and pale pink two tone with a perfectly matched interior with re trimmed original seats in a matching colour combination.
Retrimmed on all surfaces with new carpets, roof lining and door cards.
The unique period gauges, steering wheel and push button radio are in excellent condition with the addition of some modern creature comfort and safety items discreetly installed. A modern quality stereo provides the tunes and the under-dash air conditioning keeps you as cool as you look plus modern safety belts have been installed making this car perfect for wedding hire or every day driving.

Powered by a 308cid side valve straight 6 with twin carburettors Hudson called the “Twin H-Power” produced excellent power and torque combined with a Hydromatic Auto transmission offering excellent cruise ability.

A very rare car in fantastic condition ready to enjoy or use as a wedding hire car either way this car will make a great investment and usable classic. Don't miss this opportunity first time offered for sale in many years since being in a private collection.
