Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, case by possibly Verger
Frères, No. 403518, case No. 10470. Made circa 1927.
Very fine and elegant, manual winding, diamond and
pearl-set Art Deco platinum lapel watch.
Amphora-shaped, the back entirely set with round and
baguette diamonds, pearl terminal and lower pearl winding
crown, the bezel with black champlevé enamel decoration,
suspended from round and baguette diamond-set platinum
links terminating to a platinum, round and baguette
diamond and pearl-set brooch.
Silvered, oval, upright Arabic numerals, outer minute
track. Blued steel Lozenge hands.
Cal. 5 ½ ``` oval, nickel-plated, 18 jewels, straight-line
lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with
5 adjustments, flat balance spring, index regulator.
Movement signed, case numbered. 17 x 39 mm(watch).
