Algarve Historic Festival 2011: Preview

This year the Algarve International Circuit will play host to the third Algarve Historic Festival, featuring more than 320 race cars from the 1930s right up to the 1990s.

The four-day event, held from 20 – 23 October, promises entertainment regardless of your automotive preference. These include Maria Teresa de Filippis, Richard Attwood, Tony Brooks, Nanni Galli, Tim Parnell, David Piper, Peter Westbury, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Michael MacDowel, Reine Wisell, Patrick Tambay, Teddy Pilette, Gerald Ashmore, Roberto Moreno, Mário de Araújo Cabral and Pedro Lamy.

Racing won’t be the only spectacle in Portugal; members of classic car clubs are invited to park their classic cars in the paddock, and a classic car parade will be held for charity.
