The 1925 Bugatti Brescia recovered from Lake Maggiore will go on public display on 15 April, when the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, California, opens its doors for the first time.

The Brescia Bugatti, which remains exactly as it was when pulled from the lake after 73 years underwater, is just one highlight in an Art Deco automotive collection which includes a large number of unrestored Bugattis and numerous French classics.

There will also be exhibits from the worlds of art and furniture, all from the Art Deco and machine age design eras (1918-1941). In addition, an entire floor is to be called ‘Club Bugatti’, featuring Bugatti family art.

The collection will be housed in the old Otis Chandler building in Oxnard, which Founder and Chairman Peter Mullin has transformed into an ‘eco-friendly’ building.
