N400 Roadster

Just two months ago we covered the unveiling of the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400, so-named to commemorate the marque’s achievements at the Nürburgring 24 Hours race, where it competed with its V8 Vantage N24 production race car. Now, not only is the N400 available in the UK, but there is a drop-top version to accompany it: the stunning N400 Roadster.

Both the coupé and open-topped models boast a power upgrade which raises the output of Aston’s 4.3-litre V8 to 400bhp, with peak torque at 420Nm. Both body styles offer a choice of Sportshift automated manual or conventional manual transmission. The exterior design changes which we reported on the coupé are now carried through to the Roadster – as are the interior enhancements: perforated black leather seats, micro-spin alloy fascia trim and a numbered sill plaque.

There are three new exterior colours for the N400 coupé and Roadster – Bergwerk Black, Lightning Silver or Karussell Orange, two of which pay homage to well-known corners on the fabulous Nordschleife circuit, scene of Aston Martin’s success in the Nürburgring 24 Hours.
