After 1935 it was incorporated into larger companies but the Wolseley name remained as an up market marque until 1975. The Wolseley Super Six Model was manufactured from 1935-1937 with three engine configurations, 16HP, 21HP & 25HP. The Wolseley Registry in England records all surviving Wolseley cars. Their database of around 5,500 cars accounts an estimated half of all surviving Wolseley's.This Wolseley was registered new on 1st July 1936 and is the sought-after 25hp derivative. Purchased by the current vendor in 1993 the Super Six is presented in black coachwork over a tan interior. The Wolseley presents well but is showing some patina to the body and interior, reported to be working well by the current vendor this handsome Super Six is supplied with various sundry bills, invoices, and the current UK registration document.
