Description
Bentley's first post-war model which debuted in 1946, it was the first Rolls-Royce/Bentley model with an in-house steel body.
At the time it was manufactured, the British steel industry had not fully recovered and meant that the quality of the steel lacked in certain aspects such as its anti-corrosion properties. This resulted in many examples having rust issues early on despite being mechanically healthy, this lead to the creation of several "hot rods" based on the Mark VI and its successor the R-Type. This Halse Engineering Special examples is one of those.
This stunning car has been painted matte black and participated in the Peace & Culture Earth Rally. It starts without issues so it would be ideal for someone who wants to participate in rallys in a vintage car.
