Description
Two excellent polo-related oil paintings on board, each bearing the artist’s distinctive "L.E" monogram. Lionel Edwards (1878–1966) is considered by many to be one of the top three British equestrian artists of the early 20th century, alongside Sir Alfred Munnings and "Snaffles" (Charlie Payne). Although his prints were popular and consequently are often available, original works, especially oil paintings are very rarely found. Each framed and glazed.
