In 1939, Don Boles, an enthusiastic young Californian, was one of the first candidates chosen for a four-year tool and die program under FDR’s New Deal initiative. He worked at the Lockheed Aircraft Company in Burbank, California learning all aspects of aircraft design and construction. After WWII, Boles and his wife began constructing high-quality travel trailers and their business flourished for over 30 years. Today, these rare trailers are highly prized by collectors. This is an extremely early example that features a dining table, sink, stove, bed, and variety of cabinets. In static storage for many years, returning this rare trailer to the road would make a fun and rewarding project.

The Estate has compiled available title and/or registration paperwork for the Vehicles offered in the Auction and will provide such paperwork to the Buyer if it is available. However, as set forth more fully in the Conditions of Sale, neither the Estate nor Gooding makes any representation or warranty with respect to any existing certificate of title or registration with regard to any Lot in the Auction. Any Lot may be sold on a Bill of Sale. By participating in this Auction, all bidders and buyers recognize that Estate and Gooding have expressly disclaimed all such warranties concerning the availability or sufficiency of any title or registration documentation.
