Description

"Founded in 1947 Wood & Pickett was formed by two ex-Hooper coachbuilders who developed a successful business offering bespoke upgrades, the business maturing during the late '60s and early '70s selling lavishly appointed Minis to the rich and famous. They later offered bespoke Wood and Pickett Range Rovers with the firm being the obvious choice to partner with Harrods on their own project.
This three door Range Rover was recently discovered in a barn in Kent as part of the clearance of a deceased estate. This rare car was acquired by the late owner in 2005 and appears to have had little use during his tenure. It is unknown when this iconic four-wheel drive was parked up but it appears to have been a while. It is reassuring to know that with a little fettling the Range Rover now runs well and the vendor informs us that there is no sign of corrosion in the chassis or bulkhead. This represents an ideal winter project that could see this rare Land Rover back on the road."
