Description

The Mini appeared in 1959 under 2 different brands Austin and Morris. It has become the symbol of swinging London in the sixties.

To seduce a population of craftsmen and freelancers, BMC launched in 1960 the Mini Van and the Estate version called Countryman by Austin (and Traveller by Morris).

Based on the same extended chassis, the Countryman received windows, a bench seat and a double rear door for easy loading. To offer a little distinction to this utility derivative, the Mini Countryman received a « woody » decoration of the most beautiful effect.

The Mini Estate presented here (chassis number 282205) was first registered on 16/02/1962 and was completely renovated by a specialist in France in 2012. The restoration has been well documented with a detailed photo album available on request. Since then, it has driven 4035 km . Left-Hand-Drive with manual gearbox.

We love the Pembroke Grey exterior color with dark red leather interior and the inimitable charm of its « so British » woodwork.
Today, the station wagon is in very good condition (Body & interior)
It is registered as Belgian oldtimer, runs and drives nicely.

Its current owner has cherished the Mini break Woody for 10 years. No doubt that it will make the new owner very happy. Interested? Do not hesitate to contact us.
