Description
"1925 CITROEN B12
Serial number 162831
Nice condition of restoration
Popular pre-war car
French title
Manufactured by Citroën from October 1925 to January 1927, the Citroën B12 competes with the Peugeot 177 and the Renault KZ. The B12 replaces the Citroën B2, one of whose main defects was the absence of front brakes. Two 1.5 liter engines were available with power ratings of 20 to 22 hp. Produced to 38 381 copies in several types of bodywork (torpedo, interior driving, convertible, commercial torpedo and Normande, Boulangère), the B12 was a real commercial success for Citroën.
The presented model is a torpedo body in a very good state of restoration. The whole restoration has been photographed by the owner, which allows to attest the quality of the work done. It has its original service booklet. A new battery will be enough to get back on the road and fully enjoy the joys of this beautiful pre-war Citroën, oh so important in the history of the brand of the quai de Javel."
