Description
A rare 'Maserati 4CL' petrol powered toy by Domo, Turin, 1949, tinplate model racing car with an internal glow-plug combustion engine, remote control steering, fuel funnel and a starting device with handle. The model is operational and has been recently started, painted red complete with ceramic-headed cloth-bodied driver, contained in original wooden fitted box with 'Domo' label to front, and two sheets of typed instructions pasted into the lid (English text), the car 43 cm, the box 53 x 33 x 12cm.
