That Pietro Frua, he could draw. He was given the beautiful DeTomaso Longchamp design with the task of giving it a look that better suits Maserati. We can only say that he has more than succeeded in that assignment. The Kyalami is a stately coupé that still has an unmistakable Maserati appearance. This example is powered by a 4.2 liter V8 engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

The bodywork looks beautiful. The sheet metal is nice and thin and the fits are correct. At first glance, it is immediately apparent that the car has a beautiful original look. The look of the car fits perfectly with the low mileage of only 48,000 kilometers. The blue paint is in very good condition and has already been repainted for cosmetic reasons. The car is on the original wheels fitted with good tires in the correct sizes.

The interior of the Maserati is covered with beautiful beige leather and is in good condition. That is not so surprising because the interior was completely treated a few years ago. The leather was removed from the seats, fully greased both inside and out and the seats were refilled. It is therefore a real feast for the eyes and the seats are still as good as on the day they were delivered new. The instruments and controls are also in very good condition, as is the headliner.

The technology is very well taken care of. The 4.2 liter V8 engine delivers 265 hp and makes the Kyalami a perfect companion for covering long distances. This is a stylish GT with a thoroughbred Italian engine. The overall technical condition of the car can only be called very good. The engine runs beautifully through the revs and the transmission shifts precisely. The brakes and undercarriage are also neatly cared for and function as they should.

The car will be delivered including documentation that endorses the recent work. In short, a pleasure to drive and a beautiful car to see.
