An Istant Classic, when it was launched in 1996, the Jaguar XK8 was finally the worthy heir to the legendary E-Type.
This unit, in the Coupé version, was registered in Italy in 2021 after being imported from the UK, where it had lived for 22 years.
Of course, it has RHD, like a true English car!

The bodywork is very well presented with shiny paint and no scratches, there are only a few small bubbles on the rear mudguards, a typical problem for this model. However, they are only visible from very close up.

Interior is in very good condition, seats have some signs of age but the leather has no tears.

Over the past year, a number of renovations and upgrades have been carried out to bring the car up to standard on a daily basis.
The headliner was replaced with a new one, new a/c compressor for a powerful and fully functional air conditioning, the headlights were upgraded with LED lights, new 4-season tyres for safe driving all year round, rear parking sensors and other small touches were added.
Mechanics in excellent working order, with a quiet engine that is ready to unleash its almost 300 HP, perfect suspension without any odd noises, steering has no play; everything is proved by the recent test passed at the Italian state authority for motor vehicles, which is valid as an inspection (MOT) until March 2023.
The automatic transmission works correctly with smooth gear shifting, without any pulls and slips, equipped with the two Normal and Sport modes.

Also equipped with cruise control to face motorway journeys in total relaxation.

The vehicle was certified as a vehicle of historical and collectable interest. As well as increasing its value, this gives access to many benefits in Italy, such as cheaper insurance policies, exemptions from driving bans on polluting vehicles and, in some regions such as Lombardy, exemption from road tax.
There are 2 keys with 2 original remote controls in perfect working order.
