We have found a very fine Range Rover, a manual one with a near-indestructible diesel engine. The car has the most gorgeous Burgundy red exterior and beige velours upholstery. Unsurprisingly the car is a joy to drive. The large windows allow good all-round views from your elevated position. Land Rover really got things right with this model. This 1994 car is one of the last series one models.

Considering the car’s age and mileage the bodywork is in great shape. The panel gaps are even and the paintwork is up to scratch. The brightwork and door rubbers all look good. The original wheels have good quality, correctly sized tyres. We must also mention the new exhaust and the presence of a tow bar. The chassis is neatly presented and is fully rustproofed.

Inside you will find a marvellous time capsule. You don’t see dashboards like these anymore. Other than the radio, there is nothing even vaguely digital. The neat instruments and controls are all in good working order. Having an analogue interior does not mean there is a lack of amenities. You are seated like a king and you have air-conditioning at your disposal. There is ample room for passengers in the back as well as a sea of space in the boot. Both front and rear seats as well as the headlining and carpets are in very neat condition. Should you wish to enjoy the sun shining in, this range Rover is fitted with a sunroof.

The car has a 2.5-litre diesel engine producing 111 Ps attached to a 5-speed manual transmission with high and low gearing. The car has been very well maintained. The engine runs smoothly and the transmission shifts in a precise fashion. The drivetrain has no play thereby contributing to a relaxed driving experience. The engine bay reflects the attention to detail. These engines are, as mentioned above, virtually indestructible and run so delightfully smooth.

The car comes with a car wallet. This Range Rover drives as well as it looks. Do not be taken in by news about the demise of the diesel engine. By the time those messages are yesterday's news, this engine will still be running!
