This BMW 1802 “Roundie” is a rare car with a unique history.

This version was only produced for one year and has a retro look given by the round headlight and the front aluminium grille
. Its owner, born in 1899, owned the car all his life and the car had only one owner!

The BMW was sold new in Naples on 16 February 1973 to Mr Carmelo Alberto Simeone, and all the original documents of first registration come with the car: original square black number plates, owner’s manual, registration certificate with pages and certificate of ownership. Even the keys are original with BMW logo!

Recently, the car was repainted in its original colour and the entire underbody was restored and repainted as it was originally.
The whole car was restored by a sheet metal worker and then treated with Würth stone guard,
as the original and in the same colour as the car, in addition to all the mechanical work such as the head and the rest.

Please note: the part under the accelerator that might look rotten is a rubber support.

As for the mechanical part, many important works have been carried out, documented by photos and invoices:

- a new complete exhaust;
- set of new tyres;
- new front and rear shock absorbers;
- rebuilt head gasket;
- rebuilt timing chain;
- brake lines restored with new hoses;
- new water pump;
- new engine and sump gaskets, including oil seals and rubber parts;
- a new battery.

The roadworthiness test was passed in February 2022 and is valid until February 2024. However, the car was purchased directly from the previous owner and some maintenance may be required at the discretion of the new owner.

The feeler gauge test showed no accidents (as shown in photos).
An engine compression test gave very good results (as shown in photos).
