With the new generation, the Vantage is more than ever a true sports car. A more exclusive and faster alternative to the Porsche 911 or an AMG GT. This Collectable comes with a manufacturer's warranty and has 15,700 km on the clock.

A Vantage or (again) a 911? The question that many car enthusiasts in this segment have asked themselves. Depreciation and doubts about reliability often pushed the decision towards Porsche.

But with the latest version of the Vantage (partly thanks to technology from Mercedes AMG) a large part of the doubts have been removed. And if you look at the prices of a used Vantage, why would you choose a 992?

Aston Martins are often stylish, but fairly understated in appearance. However, this new generation Vantage is more muscular than ever. The Vantage should actually be viewed in real life to appreciate the lines and proportions, because what a beauty it has become. Especially in this Magnetic Silver with the somewhat coarser metallic flakes, so that the lines in, for example, the flanks stand out even better. The outspoken design is based on the Aston Martin DB10 from the James Bond film Spectre. That car never went into production, but with this Vantage you still have the looks.

With a muscular appearance also comes a potent engine. And that is the famous 4.0 liter biturbo V8 from AMG for sure. This engine is good for no less than 510 hp and 685 Nm of torque. This makes the Vantage more powerful and faster than a 992 Carrera GTS or an AMG GT, which are in the price lists for a comparable amount. Furthermore, this is the first Aston Martin with an electronic differential lock. The perfect 50-50 weight distribution also helps. So the Vantage drives the way it looks and has become a real driver's car.

The aforementioned DB10 is not the only source of inspiration for the design. The grille is derived from the Vulcan, Aston Martin's extreme track car. The ducktail is also worth mentioning: it generates the necessary downforce, but is beautifully integrated into the design.

An Aston Martin must of course remain stylish, which is why this example is finished in Magnetic Silver. Furthermore, this car is equipped with exclusive 20-inch Q rims, the Sports Plus Pack (with sports seats and a sports steering wheel), the Tech Pack (including Auto Park Assist, blind spot monitor, keyless entry) and Premium Audio.

This Vantage is as good as new, has had one owner, has (of course verifiable) 15.700 kilometers on the clock and is still under the factory warranty until March 2023.

Note: The Vantage was imported from Luxembourg and is currently not registered, but a fresh Dutch registration is included in the price. Other foreign registration can be arranged on request.

Modifications

None, this car is completely original. The only 'modification' is a glass goating worth €1.800 with a 9 year warranty.

Remarks

Apart from some minor stone chipping the car is still in mint condition.

Service history

In May 2021, a 12-month check with an oil change was carried out at Aston Martin Luxembourg at 12.492 km. In July 2021, the car was fitted with new rear tires. Apart from that, no maintenance has been required, given the mileage and the age of the car.
