Classic Opels are experiencing a true renaissance. Rare models and versions are especially popular. Such as this Opel Kadett GSI Champion from 1990, delivered in the Netherlands, with the much-loved and smooth 2.0 liter eight-valve. It is a special edition of the GSI with some very desirable options. For example, this car is equipped with a leather-clad Recaro interior, 15-inch BBS rims, Champion logos and striping, front fog lamps, power steering, round tachometer in the LCD dashboard, lockable glove compartment, special metallic paint and even an on-board computer. It is clear that you did not have to lack for anything in this luxuriously fast Opel.

The car is in very good condition and has only 150,695 kilometers on the clock. The Kadett looks beautiful with beautiful original sheet metal and has good paint everywhere. The rims are also in very good condition and free of damage. The rims are fitted with Pirelli tires with more than sufficient profile. The striping in Champion stickers also looks very neat.

The interior has been very well maintained throughout the life of this car. The leather is neatly cared for and completely free of tears. There are some light traces of use here and there that match the mileage and age of the car. The LCD dashboard was ahead of its time and still immediately catches the eye. The counters all look good and function as they should. The headliner and trunk lining are also very neat. The car even still has the original Opel radio.

The technology has been very well maintained over the years. The C20NE is known as a practically indestructible motorcycle. The engine is controlled by a Motronic ML4.1 ECU and produces 116 hp. According to experts, the 8V motor is a lot smoother than the 16V, despite the 8V being less powerful. A Kadett GSI weighs only 940 kilograms and goes from 0-100 in 9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Even today performance figures that no one should be ashamed of. The engine is mated to a smooth-shifting five-speed manual transmission, and the brakes and chassis are more than up to the task.
