Perhaps the most beautiful model Opel ever built, with its streamlined bodywork and the curved front mudguards. This original car was delivered in the Netherlands and has had 2 demonstrable owners. The first one from 1-3-1972 and the second owner bought the car on 3-4-2015. The car had already been resprayed from the original ochre yellow to a lemon yellow, the original license plate was fortunately always kept.

A lot was done on the GT recently. The engine has matching numbers and was overhauled in the past, the engine bay looks cared for. The gearbox also has matching numbers and shifts excellent. No additional noises can be heard. The interior is neat but with some light wear after 50 years, equipped with the optional small Personal GT steering wheel. The dashboard and its many gauges have remained nice so no dryness cracks like many others have, it comes with a disconnected mono radio. The pop-up headlights work well.

Brand new (expensive) chrome bumpers front and rear, new chrome emblems applied and a new chrome fuel cap. New high-beam headlights mounted under the front bumper and a completely new sports exhaust system from Bosal for a wonderful, nostalgic and sporty sound! The paint on the front mudguards has some cracks and some welding is needed on the bottom, however the load-bearing parts are excellent!

There are 5 original ATS rims with good 175/70x13" tyres, the spare wheel is also from ATS. That was a nice extra accessory in the early 70s. The mileage is 27,450 km, but it has an early odometer with 5 digits, this should therefore be 127,450 km.

It is worth mentioning it has the original ignition keys, the original instructions (in Dutch) and various workshop manuals and parts books for the Opel GT.

In short: a properly driving, original GT with some work in order to make it perfect.
