We have a wonderful fully restored Triumph TR6 on offer. That this particular restored Triumph TR6 was carried out whilst staying true to its origins is obvious the moment you clap your eyes on it. The car was subject to a body-off restoration, with the underside being as good as what you see on top.

The bodywork and chassis were taken back to bare metal and repaired where needed before being resprayed in her original red colour. The state of both the bodywork and chassis are as you would expect: pristine. The fine panelwork is even better aligned than how Triumph built it. The expertly applied paintwork is pristine. The bumpers and rims have been re-chromed and look a treat. There is a new hood which is more or less a true copy of the original factory fitted one. Naturally, this part is undamaged and fits perfectly. On days the hood is down it is neatly stowed away under a well-fitting tonneau cover.

The car’s interior is impeccable. It has been authentically fully reupholstered. It has black leather upholstery and carpets. The wooden dashboard, the instrument cluster and controls are all in great shape and in good working order. The car looks like it could have just rolled off the factory assembly line.

Mechanically this car is also in peak condition. The rebuilt 2.5-litre straight-six runs fantastically smooth. An abundance of torque is available early on at lower revs as well as keeping it all up at the higher rev range. The engine is fitted with twin, open-air filter carburettors which add to pleasantly

to the engine sound. The engine is attached to a precisely functioning manual 4-speed gearbox. The suspension and braking system was also thoroughly overhauled during the restoration and are in good order. It is therefore a pure joy to drive this Triumph TR6. The feedback through the steering wheel is exact, the brakes are more than equal to their task with the suspension adding to the car’s pleasant road handling. This car looks and drives like a new one.
