In 1958, the British company Ariel Motorcycles presented its scooter concept with the Leader model featuring a twin-cylinder 2-stroke engine with aluminium heads, 4-speed gearbox, moulded monocoque frame and equipped with a large windscreen and substantial side panels. It was the first two-wheeler to be equipped with direction indicator lights as standard. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
