Description

Nissan's NPT90 represented the zenith of the marque's participation in the legendary IMSA GTP championship. Through the efforts of Electramotive, which then became Nissan Performance Technology Inc in 1990 (a wholly owned-subsidiary of Nissan North America), the program yielded 4 consecutive Drivers' titles for Geoff Brabham. This was domination that no other manufacturer achieved in GTP, and once the GTP ZX Turbos and NPT 90s are understood, it is easy to see why. In their ultimate state of tune, the NPT 90's V6 engine could produce 1190bhp in qualifying trim!

Chassis 90-07 was the final car built in period by NPTI, being completed in 1992 and used in only two races, at Phoenix and Del Mar where it was driven by Geoff Brabham.
