Description

"The XJ range has been the Jaguar flagship car since 1970. The version was launched in 1997 and codenamed X308, it was built on nearly 30 years of Jaguar heritage. The exterior styling was similar to the model it replaced but the interiors saw a significant improvement in refinement over its predecessor, carrying on the tradition of sumptuous leather with walnut defining the very ethos Jaguar set out to achieve from that start, trying to compete against their European rivals.
Supplied new by Woodford Jaguar, London, this example has had just two owners from new. The last of which acquiring the car in 1999. The history file that accompanies the car includes 17 previous MoT test certificates and a service book with 11 main dealer stamps up to 24,500 miles. Used sparingly since, the car has covered just 25,835 miles from new and comes complete with a full book pack and spare key. The original toolkit situated in the engine bay is present and is in as new condition, still retaining its original plastic covering. Described by the vendor as in immaculate order, this wonderful example is one for the collector and is ready for use. Possibly the lowest mileage example available today."
