Among the special designs by the major coachbuilders for the Fiat 1100 chassis, one of the most fascinating body styles was done by Fiat itself by the ‘’Carrozzerie Speciali’’ devision.
For the top of the range model, the 1100 Sport Berlinetta a different engine was made to make it more powerful and very reliable.

The lightened chassis was combined with a streamlined lightweight all alloy body and alloy trim and lightweight bucket seats. The competion was from Cisitalia and Stanguellini.

This example is a unique Fiat 1100 Sport Berlinetta Mille Miglia from 1948 and has an extensive racing history. This car participated and finished 3 times in the original Mille Miglia!

1955 Mille Miglia. Campostella, Collini, racing number 516.

Next to that it raced the Giro di Sicilia and the Coppa d’oro Delle Dolomiti in 1954.

It always remained in Italy.

In 2019 it participated in the Mille Miglia and the Red Cross Rally.

A remarkable lightweight streamliner Berlinetta in very well prepared condition.

The car is Dutch (EEC) registered and comes with a big history file and with appropriate FIVA papers.
